$5 from each of our Peas tees sold will be donated to the International Rescue Committee (IRC). It’s a worthy and reputable charity started by none other than Albert Einstein in 1933 and is now affiliated with the U.N.

According to the institution’s website, the IRC is “one of the first to respond, one of the last to leave. For more than 70 years, the International Rescue Committee has been a leader in humanitarian relief. They mobilize quickly, bringing sustained support to regions torn apart by violence and deprivation. And the IRC advocates tirelessly on behalf of the displaced, addressing the root causes of violence and stands up for the world’s most vulnerable populations especially children.”

We at Babytease love the IRC’s “rebuilding lives, restoring hope” motto and wish the whole would adopt this philosophy! Thanks to the IRC's Global Crisis Watch, all current donations go to the most severe, present need on a Global scale including Uganda & Sudan as well as the Pakistan earthquake and Hurricane Katrina one year later.
